Seed Treatment
Seed treatment assumes that the seed placed in the soil for germination purposes can carry active substances that can positively affect the ecological environment in which the embryo will grow.
Substances currently used in seed treatment are formulated primarily for the purpose of protecting seed from microbial and fungal attack.
If humic active substances are added to these substances, the seed is protected, but at the same time an activation of metabolic and enzymatic processes occurs at the embryonic level, which, if properly operated, can guarantee a better and faster development. embryo plant. There is no more cost-effective input than a well-formulated seed treatment, as providing a balanced nutritional package for the seed can be the “mother's milk” of plant production. Mineral requirements during germination may be minimal, but the beauty of seed nutrition has to do with these low inputs. A handful of small changes can start a crop so efficiently that only serious nutritional mismanagement later in the crop can prevent significant yield increases (based on this early momentum).
Seed treatment with humic acids – double security
The technology used in the production of coated seeds is a process that requires a lot of experience, time and instinct. Moreover, macronutrients and micronutrients are essential components of a well-coordinated combination of different ingredients. Humic acids are presented in a highly concentrated form that involves 2 steps in the process. They are first brought into direct contact with the seeds and reintegrated into the outer layer of the coat at a later stage.
Humic acids come into direct contact with the seeds before they are covered with various nutrient layers. The grain is subjected to intensive treatment (inoculation) with a highly concentrated humic acid solution.
This method has the following effects:
-
Cell membrane and metabolism activities are stimulated and therefore the germination rate increases.
-
Nutrient intake capacity increases and therefore supports the growth of the seedling.
-
Sugar and vitamin content increased
-
The activity of the seedling is supported given a lower susceptibility to diseases.
Seed treatment with humic acids has the following effects:
-
Improved nutritional intakes
-
faster germination
-
Faster installation
-
Promotes root development of seedlings
-
Reducing susceptibility to pests and diseases
Results from field experiments:
The best results were obtained with the fulvic acid fraction produced by a new method that preserves the potency of the organic components of the fulvic acid fraction. With this method, some compounds in humates, which are negative growth factors when applied to seeds, are removed. The extract we supply for seed treatment meets organic standards and is not extracted with any acid or alkaline chemicals. The product is so low in heavy metals that it can also be used for feeding purposes in livestock.
Treatment of seeds with diluted humate solution stimulates cell membranes and metabolic activities, thereby increasing the microbe rate. At this early and important stage of plant growth, humic acids stimulate root development, supporting increased nutrient uptake and healthy plant development.
